Prayer Shawl Ministry

Just a few years ago, June, one of our parish members heard about a wonderful ministry of ladies who made shawls and gave them to people who needed their warmth and comfort knowing they were prayerfully made by loving givers.  The word spread in our parish and our own Prayer Shawl Ministry was born.

Since that time almost 100 shawls have been blessed at the Altar and distributed to those who could benefit from their warmth through illness or sadness.

Sadly, we recently lost June,  but her idea and work is continuing by others who share her love of doing for others.  Thank you June, you are missed!!
